    im usually pretty private about my spiritual life, but tonight, i need to get this off my chest.

    recently started saying this novena prayer which requires reading of a little passage every night for about a week, and certain bits in tonight's reading really struck a chord in me. Especially with the recent happenings. Here goes:

    "...Help me to have patience when things are slow to come and slow to happen.
    Help me to have patience not to give up, when something takes a long time to do, and when it does not come out right the first or second time.
    Help me to remember that everthing worth doing is hard to do;
    that everything worth getting is hard to get    ;
    that everything worth being is hard to be,
    but that the struggle and the effort are worth while in the end    ...."
